The experience
Beach time in Barú, a walk through Cartagena's historic center and stops in Barranquilla, with breakfast and lunch included.
Discover Cartagena, with a short city tour of Barranquilla on the way. We leave at 3:30 a.m. and, in Barranquilla, stop at the Ventana al Mundo sculpture and the Shakira statue. Then we continue to a village near Cartagena for breakfast and on to Barú.
In Barú you enjoy the beach and lunch until 3:00 p.m. Next comes a 90-minute walk through Cartagena's historic center: the walled city, the Muelle de los Pegasos, Plaza de Santo Domingo, the Clock Tower, the India Catalina statue, the Zapatos Viejos monument and San Felipe Castle. The return trip to Santa Marta leaves at 5:30 p.m.
